I like the idea of having an RP scenario where virtually any sort of character is welcome. Talking llama? Sure. Robot samurai? OK. It is because of this I came up with the idea of Chaos Manor. Imagine a countless amount of universes stacked on top of each other (more or less). Many of these universes are drastically different from one another. The one thing they all have in common is that each has concrete natural laws.
Chaos Manor would exist in a dimension that is unique in that it is located right on the edge of Chaos, the one known dimension through out all of existence that has no natural laws. It is a place of undoing. Of non existence. Because of this, the natural laws that govern the Chaos Mansion Dimension (CMD) are incredibly weak. It is not uncommon for people, creatures and objects from other universes to occasionally slip through the fabric of reality and find themselves in the CMD. This is partially the reason that Chaos Manor exists.
The Chaos Manor itself would be an enormous maze of a mansion located directly on top of the only known crack between reality and chaos. Roland, the mysterious Guardian jester and his friend Basil, a rat sized pig with large red wings, are the only permanent occupants, guard the manor from any who would seek to use the crack in reality. They also exist to guide those who have found themselves in the CMD by accident.
This could be an opportunity for some incredibly bizarre and creative roleplaying. All possible genres smashed together! An army of clock work girls seeking to rip open the universe, a six foot tall amoeba who just wants to be loved, or anything else you can imagine all contained within an enormous and impossible mansion and the lands surrounding it.
I'm fairly new to this, and so I don't necessarily expect the very best from those who join. I'm also fairly busy with work and school, so I would be fairly lenient with slow story progression. However, although slow would be ok, NO progress would not. Also, although anything would go as far as character creation, I would be on the look out for potential god moders. If you say your character comes from a universe where everyone is just like Wolverine but a thousand times more powerful, I wouldn't be happy. Also, I'd expect explanations for things. I'm perfectly ok with you creating a character that happens to be a sentient tomato bush, but I want to know WHY it's a sentient tomato bush.
As I said, I'm new to this, but I have a lot of experience writing, and I'm very willing to work diligently in order to see this meet it's full potential! I'm open to answering any question or possible suggestion!
